About Us
MHI-SLP was founded in 2010 by Minter Willis. Mr. Willis has over 20 years experience working with children and adults with Developmental Disabilities. He earned his MBA prior to endeavoring to open his own agency. This degree topped off his years of experience that covered direct-care to program management. Mr. Willis has extensive experience with Special Olympics, which he began in high school as a volunteer. He held various positions at the local and State level in Tennessee and Indiana. Mr. Willis had the opportunity to travel around the world with Special Olympics working the World Games as a coach and later a coordinator.
MHI-SLP is located in Connersville, Indiana. This location offers small town life with easy access to the larger surrounding cities, including Richmond, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. We strive to help clients become a part of their community, while venturing out for various activities and specialty medical services. Because of Connersville's size, clients become known at their favorite places and have a better chance of gaining natural supports in the community.
